Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She is also the Director of the Center for Public Policy Research. She is widely known for her pioneering modern research of eyewitness accounts from children's memories and also the application of child victimization in court. Professor Goodman published widely and has won several grants and has been honored with many national and international prizes. She has offered policy and research consultations to numerous agencies and government departments from all over the world. She is currently a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center at Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She's a member of numerous professional associations that include Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is also a member of the Psychonomics Society, American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She served as the president of The American Psychological Association's 3 divisions, Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Family and Child policy and practice.
