Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza's beauty has left an impression on small screens. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. Her move to Texas in order to pursue a career as a physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last long in Texas and moved to Orlando Florida where she experienced various acting roles such as local independent films and international commercials. Even though she had small parts, De La Garza rapidly realized the passion she had for performing. The year 2001 saw her move from the Midwest to New York where her first role was on All My Children's soap opera in the role of Rosa Santos. Her roles were sporadic on JAG the Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. Her first major series appearance was on the short-lived 2004 drama The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to be a part of a cast that included some of the best TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The most memorable part of her career was in 2006's Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress appeared on the show 85 times. Following a brief run, her character migrated into Law & Order: LA. De La Garza received several nominations for this character including Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominated. She won an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for Outstanding Performances for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza got a reprise role in CSI Miami a few moments further. The role was Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She was Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dramatic dark series Do No Harm. It was eventually cancelled after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is of Italian descent and also has a younger brother Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. Her family was a very traditional and spiritual one. Milano's career began at age seven as her babysitter took her to an audition. Milano was among four girls selected from among over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano has appeared in ads on television and off-Broadway, including the American musical adaptation that portrayed Jane Eyre.
