Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. Her most well-known role is her part as Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as a child at Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio and she continued her passion for the stage. She attended Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna spent a few seasons working in Chicago theater before transitioning to television and film. In 1992, Anna landed her first big role in the role of Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. She also guest-starred on the show. played in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. It was not until the end of the 1990s when she landed the role of The Practice. In the mid 2000's she was cast in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. She also starred in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in 2008. Sully was the Deadwood film, and other movies included her. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed the film Sex With Strangers. The actress starred as Numbered Days, a four-part audio show that premiered in 2022. The relationship with Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the narrative in Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and the eventual end of their relationship similar to the arc that was Walter White's final years of his life.
